I haven't had much time for anything other then reading. Here is my reading homework for the remainder of the week and weekend.
Vis Culture- 2 Chapters + a long article (about 40 printed pages) before Friday on tourism and photography and how that develops cultures.
China- 3 very long intensive chapters on 20th Cent. Chinese history before Monday
N.A Archeology- 2 chapters + about 10 pages + 1, 4 or 5 page article on Paleo-indian hunters and gatherers in the North Americas. I think all of this reading is supposed to be done by Friday but the article might be Mondays.
Crazy isn't it?
I guess I didn't mention that I have 3 midterms on Halloween Day.
I am taking it all in stride though. I am a very good reader but I am still constantly behind.
The good news is I have gotten 100% on every test and assignment I have gotten back so far. Yea me!
Onto embroidery and sewing...
I have to admit that I have hardly sewn a thing in a month. I did sew a crayon apron for the shop (I haven't taken photos yet). I really like the little pattern I came up with. I will get some pics and maybe squeeze a tutorial together on my breaks (you know... the ones for my sanity).
My ongoing embroidery project is for Halloween. I am hoping it gets done in time to enter it into some contests.
and a close up of my favorite part so far...
I will be back as soon as I can with pics of the apron and hopefully an updated witch.
