I am way behind on my Christmas sewing. I have finals this week and next as well as essays to write but I still have a lot of time to sew. Problem is materials. I am out of linen. On the advice of Lynn, I ordered several yards of linen in a few different colors. Mostly the dark autumn colors I love like chocolate brown and olive green or that deep Merlot burgundy. I am expecting it in the mail tomorrow or the next day. After I finish my paper on Friday I am pretty much finished. My other paper will be easy to finish and I only have one final. No more all day reading sessions for a while.
So the very last bit of linen went into an elephant tote.
Here is the inside
And here is a close up of the little elephant
I also made froggie rice bags using the frog bean bag pattern from Purl bee. My little one thinks that my big heating bag is too heavy so I made a froggie one her size.
The Ruby doll is still in the building stages but she is close to being stuffed! And I finally have the final gift list down for Christmas... if only that linen would get here!
