A little bit to show
As promised, I have a couple little things I have done during my break.
I have been experimenting with embroidery on dark fabrics and I love how vivid the embroidery is. Does anyone know a good way to transfer designs onto dark fabrics? I think I have seen printable iron on paper for dark fabrics, but I am hoping there is a pen...
The lavender is still in progress. I have also begun finishing some of my UFOs. The one I am working on now is this one... which has a lot more work done on it.

Those duckies are sooo cute. I've thought about embroidering on dark fabrics, just for a little variety but never have. The only things I know of are using a white chalk pencil which doesn't strike me as very tidy or stitching through a layer of white tear off interfacing.

Thats what I thought. Maybe chalk, but you are right, it wouldn't be very tidy.

in the dressmakers section of your local craft/ sewing shop, there are transfer pencils that are blue, pink, and white that would work great on darker fabrics. they are meant to transfer dark markings etc. onto darker fabrics. not too expensive...around $2. they wash out too, so no permanant markings.
