Today was a gorgeous day at the flea market. I have never been to the market in Capitola, but after hearing about the deals that Liz came up with yesterday I had to go.
The warm sun and fresh squeezed Lemonade made the day feel like summer had already started.
Even though we went on Sunday there was still a lot of great finds. We saw fresh fruit and veggies, vintage items, stuff from Mexico and China, cheap (very cheap) household items like soap and razors, lots of clothing and toys, pretty much everything you can think of. I came away with a couple good finds and plans to go again, this time on a Friday before all the best items are gone.
I came across these cherries at a $1.00 a pound. The pyrex bowl was $5 and I got the largest one too for $8.00. A little more then I would have normally paid but I really like this design. The white linen the bowl is sitting on it a beautiful stain-free tablecloth I got for $1.00!
I also scored these awesome vintage bottles for $2.00 each. He had several more but I only picked the blue ones and a couple clear bottles with purple hues.
I cant wait to go again!
