I will be announcing the results of the contest in my next post!
I finished knitting two more hats for the adorable newborns I will be photographing soon.
I love this pink one, but I will never knit one again! Purling hurts my fingers so much! I have some mild arthritis in my hands and for some reason purling really aggravates it. The pattern came from Baby Beanies.
The bottom one is another munchkin hat. I used inexpensive cotton yarn from Jo Anns this time and I really like how the cotton yarn works with this pattern.
I started on my Carefree Clothes for Girls pattern, but I am stuck on the fabric I should use. I may have to run out to buy more for this dress. I don't have enough of anything else I want to use!
I cant wait to see who won the contest! Brae will be picking the names out of a hat tomorrow!

When I first learned to knit I was tight and dug the stitches through with cheap metal needles. I tried to loosen my stitches but once I learned to "pick" instead of "throw" my working yarn it made all the difference. There is so much you can do when you keep on purling. Don't give up. Your hats are beautiful.

Love the hats.
I dug out the CFCFG patterns and found them but not the book.
Can you tell me the letter pieces for the sleevless dress please?

I love that munchkin hat! I am a member of Ravelry but had not come across that pattern yet! So cute! Too bad that they only offer it in a newborn size. :-( My baby boy is already 6 months old and definitely too big for it now. :-(
