First day of Kindergarten! I thought I would freak, but I am actually enjoying the free time. I was able to do things completely uninterrupted. What a thought!

Hooray! That is the best beginning...and the best smile in the world from a new kindergartner. It took me a few days to realize that the quiet morning was a GIFT just waiting for me :-) to use however I wanted to. So GREAT that you felt that happiness already on the first day. Wonderful!
By the way, I think my tomatoes are going to just stay green....we have such chilly, rainy weather here. Summer was about three hours long. ;-) I felt a pang of envy when I saw your photos. We lived in Monterey for a few years and I remember how magically everything grew...and kept growing.
