Prickly Pear - My friend Tina got hundreds of those tiny orange thorns in her arm and hands. Tape, very sticky packing or duct tape is the trick to removing those suckers.

There's only one California....beautiful!! I remember Gilroy. :-) Gilroy makes garlic prestigious and treats it with the honor it deserves .....and the whole area is straight out of a John Steinbeck novel.
I hope your friend is moving forward/upward incrementally. It's nice you were there for her.
