Hi All!
I want to quickly answer a couple of questions regarding Oregon. My hubbie still hasn't accepted the job but it is looking like we will. It is in Prineville about 30 miles or so from Bend, OR. I have never been to Oregon, but from what I gather Prineville is just like my hometown without the excessive population growth, increase in gangs from LA, and high rent prices and general snobby, luxury filled LA-ness (please dont take offence, I was born and raised there). I am looking forward to living in a house again. I have never aclimated to apartment living. We cant stop talking about getting a dog... oh and a ferret. Ferrets are illegal in California and I really hate having to worry when I have one. I miss my little furry friends! I have never been so long without a pet of some kind. This job is a great oppourtunity for my husband, a GREAT oppourtunity and we are looking forward to the adventure.
Onto crafting.
I have acquired yet another crafting addiction, Papercutting. If you dont know about Papercutting then you should visit these sites

Here are a couple I did last night, all very simple and easy.

The above papercut was inspired by a photograph.

This one was inspired by a quick sketch. Reminds me of my little bro, or maybe Tom Sawyer. Or maybe he reminds me of my brother because he reminds me of Tom Sawyer... good possibility
This next one is my favorite so far.

Maybe I am a sucker for birdies and trees, or maybe its the way the light blue paper looks against the black mat board (that's my backing, by the way). He is singing away isn't he!
I did another, more intricate one a couple days ago that I forgot to photograph so I will show that one next time. Happy Crafting!
