Hi everyone! I hope Thanksgiving was as wonderful for all of you as it was for me! My turkey was FABULOUS! I used Alton Browns recipe for a turkey brine and discovered that he is right! One cannot do a turkey justice without brining it first. A brine is now an essential part of my turkey. I will have to try it with chicken to see how it changes a whole roaster chicken.
I received my finished tea towel from the Tea Towel Tour 4.
It is now serving as the dust cover for my sewing machine (which has been gathering dust lately). Everyone did a fabulous job!
The Cherry Tree canvas embroidery is still being worked on and is about halfway finished. I ran out of thread for one of my trees so I have to go find it at the craft store.
In the meantime I started on Christmas gifts. I wont be showing the entire piece until after Christmas because the recipients tend to check my blog ever so often. I am going to call this one Indian Girl and it is based off on a 70's coloring book page.
love the tea towel and can't wait to see your finished project. How did you get involved in the tea towel tour? That would be fun!

I like all the sea creatures!!
I did a towel tour. I started it it went to two people and then the dog chewed it at the second place. UGH!!
If you're having a tour soon, count me in!

Oh another thing...in Feb when my DH and I went to Kauai, while we were snorkeling I saw a Sea Horse. It was so cool to see one live!! All they do is sit like the one on the towel!!
