I have had friends and relatives staying with me for the past 3 weeks straight! The last visitors, my mom and brother, left a couple days ago. I enjoy having people over, but I am happy that things are getting back to normal.
I didn't take many photos last week. Sometimes you have to put down the camera and mingle with people instead of just documenting them. Here are my two favorites from my trips around the bay.
My mom and brother had never seen the Golden Gate Bridge so we took some time to stop by the lookout point right before you cross the bridge. It was cold and windy and their were masses of people. I heard languages I have never heard before.
We also took a trip to Vasona Lake Park in San Jose. It is worth a stop if you want a inexpensive place for the kids to have a blast. Parking is $6, but there is a river to play in, a lake with boats and other fun things to rent, a carousel and train ride for $2 each, and lots of geese to watch. They even have a food stand.
The garden has gone wild! If you have been watching the left sidebar you will see that I am up to 5 pounds harvested since Summer Solstice! That number is about to get WAY higher. Check this out!

Next post will be my chemises, I promise!
