Worked on two big projects today. It feels great to get two more things crossed off my list. I will tell you more about these this week when everything is finished.
I don't know why this looks so pukey green. The paint was wet when I took this picture so I think that might be it. It has now dried to a pretty deep green. I used Behr's Paint in Grape Leaves. I think it looks like a cross between grape leaves and deep green apple.
I have been wanting to redo this little table for years! It's finally getting done and just needs a coat of finish. I LOVE how it came out. I keep touching it when I walk by but I should really keep my hands off until I get a protective finish on it. I was intimidated by staining, but it ended up being much easier then I thought it would be. I will post before and after photos this week.
Tomorrow is another full day. I am picking up some free pallets which I plan on breaking down into boards to eventually make this.
Remember Ana White over at Knock Off Wood? I have plans to use her plans to make this bookshelf seen at Living Etc. I scored two pallets off Craigslist and am on the hunt for more. I love that I am able to reuse the wood from a pallet to make this. Totally cool!
Wow, lots of great projects you have going on! That bookcase in reclaimed wood is stunning and I love the stain you used on the table.
